Not as sturdy as the name implies, but at least the are no plastic joints.

I purchased this clothing rack on sale, so it was closer in price to the cheaper mixed material racks. It was not obvious to assemble, the instructions are vague but I did manage. One reco - especially towards the end of assembly - make sure to slide poles in place at same time (tricky to manage if doing it alone) otherwise the final connection would require force to lock. I like the big (locking) casters, after a day I lowered the rack into middle position, with 10 or so items on it, it looks good and feels more stable. I can’t quite believe that there’s nothing to act as a shelf (for folded sweaters or footwear) across the bottom area of the rack. I’ll have to rig something up… On sale it’s okay, full price look elsewhere.

The rack is not 'heavy duty' but is more sturdy than others I've purchased in the past. I would recommend not overloading and spacing the garments out if you are using it for heavy coats.

Wobbly Rack.

At full height so I can hang my dresses 👗 on it it is very wobbly. I am afraid to hang my clothes up on it at that height and so have lowered the height but it's still wobbly.

All around poor craftsmanship and quality. Holes for push buttons to lock in, do not line up properly. Also once they are pushed they do not spring back.
