Solid and nice looking, can't sit for too long

These are solid pieces that look great at our kitchen island. The seat part is nice and big and square, no perching. However, they're not that comfortable to sit on for long periods. The bar for your feet to rest on is narrow and starts to dig into your feet after awhile. But I guess that's part of the look. Happy to have them.

Great Stools

my wife bought me a set of these for Christmas for my newly rebuilt shop from the clearance/returned rack at 80% off.they both had a couple of rust spots on the seat area that were laquered over but that you had to look closely to see..they are solid and well made..waiting for them to go on sale to purchase 2 more..if you can overlook this flaw which i think gives them character definetly buy them

So disappointed

I was very excited about these stools and was so happy to read all the nice reviews. This morning I walked into a Canadian Tire store and bought two sets of these (I needed 4 stools). The boxes wouldn't fit in my car so I decided to take the stools out of the box and just put them as is in my car and fold the box. Not a big deal at all. But as soon as I opened the first box I could see RUST all over the seat. I then took the second stool out and it had rust all over the legs. I decided to open the second box and same thing! Both stools has rust on them. I had to pack it all up and return the stools. I decided to drive across the city to another CT but same thing...!!! All four stools that I tried to purchase we covered in rust!
No, I do not recommend this product.
