Q: What material is the back panel made from? Is it thick enough to use as support for hanging the cabinet?
2 years agoA: The back panel is just thin particle board and not supportive, but there is a 5/8"x 4" piece of wood/particle board inside the cabinet, top back, the width of the cabinet. I mounted my unit with three screws into three studs. It's extremely well hung, and the unit is very well made and looks quite nice.
