Over my life time i have had and installed 3 awning . The only thing i would suggest is a 3rd mounting bracket . I have been very satisfied with all three . I also must say the custom service at the store both on Quinpool Rd and Bayers Lake location was above and beyond.

Decent awning but check for damage!!

Bought this and was very happy with it until I unrolled it. The metal tube that the awning rolls up was dented. I returned it and got another one and it was dented when unrolled as well. I checked with the warehouse person and he said the remaining boxes were in worse shape. I kept the item and received a small discount but it was not enough to be satisfied with the product. It is a decent awning, but unroll at the store if possible to avoid disappointment! I believe there is a packing/ shipping issue with the long box.

love our new awning

a year ago
we just installed our new awning and so far so good. yes we had to use our own lag bolts as the concrete bolts were not suitable for our wood wall. Takes two to install and a bit of handyman skills. this needs to be secured well. would of preferred a third bracket in middle. great for the price.

According to the manual, these awnings are only for use on concrete or brick walls. Regular walls aren't strong enough (and it doesn't come with the mounting hardware for regular walls anyway)

Q: How much space or dimension is required from the soffit to the center of the mounting bracket to mount onto the wall? I need it to mount as high as possible. Thx

  • A: The brackets are on each end and the bolts about 6" apart and they go like this on the wall : one bolt on top and other bolt is below it. The awning remains flat against the wall and the tarp rolls out from the bar that's attached to the brackets. ( I-------I)
