Worked

It works fine if you follow the instructions perfectly. Be sure to start off with a completely flat tire by deflating your tire fully first. If you know exactly where the hole is be sure to park your vehicle with the whole exactly at the bottom of the tire where it rests on the ground. Be sure to use as much of the spray as you can. Be sure to drive for about 15 or 20 minutes immediately after reinflating with the foam to spread it around evenly or you'll be left with a lump of the foam at the bottom of your tire causing for a rough bumpy ride. Anyways good luck with your repairs mine worked perfect and I just wanted to share with you what worked with me. I also noted that this can't be used for sidewall fixes it has to be like a small hole like a nail or a screw hole in the tread pattern in order for it to work properly.

Bubbles coming out from the can

The lid was not hermetic and I lost pressure (bubbles coming from the top of the can) and couldn´t pass the liquid to the tire. It´s not the first time. I had removed all the air from the tire, so this was not the reason.

  • A: The answer from Fix-A-Flat is found at " https://www.fixaflat.com/pages/can-my-tire-be-repaired-after-using-fix-a-flat " and I quote: "Yes, there is nothing in the formulation that would prevent a tire from being repaired. Advise the tire repair professional that you have used the Fix-a-Flat brand tire inflator in your tire, so they may properly clean the tire for repair. Fix-a-Flat cleans up easily with soapy water and a shop rag. Warranties vary by tire manufacturer. Contact your tire manufacturer for specific details."

1 Answer
  • A: Oui.
