Poor handle locks

Handle lock broke after 5 months. This one replaced my original that had locks that did not work.
When contacting Fiskars the stated that since the original has been already replaced by Fiskars the are falsely stating their warranty that the unit THEY replaced cannot be replaced again.
NOT STATED IN THEIR WARRANTY
No, I do not recommend this product.

Our warranty covers manufacturing defects, but when a product has previously been replaced, we’re not always able to offer an additional replacement — especially if we can’t confirm whether the issue resulted from a defect or from normal wear, use conditions, or external factors.

A: This product simply has weak blades. Pass on it & buy a cheaper-one. It will save you money now & on the replacement blades.
