It sounds like the locking mechanism isn’t holding properly. Make sure the blades are fully closed when engaging the lock, and the knob is tightened. The most excellent cutter for any age!

Excellent for people who are in their late seventies or early eighties as bending over can be very difficult. You can’t get a better cutter!! For younger people it is so good you can not find a more excellent cutter!!!!
