It was great, but it broke at the hinge. However, the warranty should cover it. Other than that, it works awesome!

Not for knives blades

Even if the product is advertised as Axe AND Knives blades it's not suitable for knives.
Pity, for Fiskars tools are my favourite!

Feels cheap and flimsy

I bought this to sharpen my Fiskars Machete. Following the instructions, the blade was not at all sharp afterwards. The rubber feet are not secure and keep falling out. In the end I used a metal file.
Probably okay if the edge you are sharpening isn't overly dull.

Q: Will this only work with Fiskar's axes I don't have a Fiskars axe. Would it work with other brands of axes?

A: Thank you for contacting Fiskars. The Fiskars axe sharpener can be used with other manufacturer's axes. It sharpens to 30 degrees if that helps with any questions with the particular tool that you have as we have not tested with all manufacturer's axes.
