does not work as designed

Does not work as designed by following the instructions on the packaging. Have to manually poke the wax out of the lid because running it through the dishwasher on the highest heat setting multiple times would not melt the wax seal to release the liquid. Message boards online indicate many people having the same issue with the product and the only solution seems to be to poke holes in the wax seal. The product works fine once the liquid can be dispensed.

Leaves an abhorrently strong chemical smell that does not go after many washes. Worse than what I started with

Almost the worst product ever..

I started using this monthly after buying a new Bosch dishwasher.. Now I get severe migraine headaches for a day after using it because of the strong chemical smell. Any one else having this issue? Will you develop a scent free cleaner?

The blue part of the 'finish platinum Powerball' product did not dissolve. It was just a gooey mess on the door and also left streaks on dishes. I am not impressed!

Q: Is this used as a dishwasher water softener? Some dishwashers have a "salt" dispenser to soften hard water in order to improve efficiency in cleaning dishes, glasses, etc. to.avoiding streaks, spots, etc. Can this product be used for this purpose? Thanks!

A: The answer is no. This is simply a product that you use to clean your dishwasher. It will help reduce mold build up on the dishwasher walls, pipes, shelfs, etc. It helps the dishwasher run through it’s course smoothly and effectively.
