    Poorly machined holes prevent assembly

    I brought this on special and because it matched the fence sections. However, the holes are so poorly machined, the support bars cannot be attached. Because i took it out of the box and tried to assemble, the store refused to let me return it - even though it is so defectively made, it cannot possibly be assembled. No wonder it was half price!!!

    I bought two of these, they were 50% off. I’ve inboxed one so far and it’s rusted and the paint is peeling badly in many places. I’ll keep it as it was a good price but would definitely return it if I paid full price.

    Missing screws, faulty construction

    I am so disappointed with this purchase, but honestly it's too much of a hassle to take it all down, rent a car and return it. It was missing a screw and the pre-drilled hole on one side was not located in the right position so I could not fit one of the top bars. I purchased 2 of these, 1 was totally great, the other was not. I now have a lopsided arbor :(

    Easy to assemble and reasonably sturdy. This will permit you to make a little entranceway arbour on which to let your clematis or other vines climb. We used it as a place for a grape vine.

    Lousy piece of junk

    The craftsmanship could not be worse!! Holes for screws and nuts are misshapen and do not allow for screws to be inserted. Several screws were missing, one lateral support piece broken in two as it was being screwed into place. Shoddy doesn't even cover this defective, cheaply made product. Do not waste your money!

    Q: How deep is the Arbor? What thickness is the metal?

    • A: It is about a foot deep but please don't buy it - it is a flimsy cheap piece of junk that can't be assembled because of so many manufacturing defects!

    Q: How does this product stay in place? Are there ground anchors or do the feet sink into the ground for support?

    • A: Yes it does, I installed it summer of 2013 and we had lots of windy days, but it's still standing. I would say the feet are buried approximately 4-6 inches deep (sorry I didn't measure when I installed it), but whatever the depth it holds in place.
