Great rod

Most I've ever spent on a rod but it was well worth it. Very light and sturdy and works great while fishing from a kayak.

Fenwick Fan !

I can't remember the last time I had to repair or replace one of my Fenwick's ( 12-20 year's) I have the Hylander II in the 5.5 and 6.5 lengths. The 6.5 is great for rivers and brooks allowing easier maneuvering through the thick brush. Lots of flex and they're plenty sensitive when fish take the bait. I use the 7 ft more for pond or lake fishing. It's amazing how much that extra 6" on the rodd gives me the accuracy and length of cast. Already mentioned ìts been years since I had to purchase the Fenwick for replacement. Having said that I'm not sure if the quality of the Fenwick's has changed or not ? but the ones I have are still reeling in good fish. Everything mentioned above is pending the types of reels used of course. Invest in the best,look after it,and you're Fenwick will look after you !!
