Lights our barnyard like daytime. Shines both out and down. Ours is about 12 feet up on back of house… any lower it would be blinding to the eyes.

A: This light bulb is not grow bulb and not recommended for grow. It is a high lumen light bulb. Please check out Canadian Tire SKU# 052-8587-2 and 052-8588-0 for grow lights. Thank you, Feit Electric
