Worth having for nuisance birds, rodents etc., when the aim is of time essence as the shot spreads out. A bit pricey but necessary to have.

Will not kill birds. Tried 3 times at very close range, and no go. Birds just flew away. This load is good for something, just don't know what.

Q: Do these work in a normal .22 ??? Do these work in normal .22's or do you need a different barrel? just thought I'd ask, at 50 cents a shot I don't know if i'll get them or if It's even possible.

A: To be clear, you can safely fire these in any firearm chambered in 22lr. As noted in previous answers they do not have adequate power to function a semi-auto action and are suited to bolt action only. The main thing to bear in mind is that these are intended to be used at short range for pest control and with a barrel that is smoothbore. Rifled barrels will result in the shot pattern being swirled instead of concentrated in a centre mass. It will also foul up rifled barrels badly with lead.
