I have used too many peelers over the years including just using a knife. This peeler is terrible, the blade is not metal, the blade is too thick and the blade does not feel secure in the slot it is in...does not peel worth a darn. You are exhausted trying to peel even a potato. I was given this product, not for me!

Awful peeler. It hurts the hands after peeling 2 potatoes. The blade is not secure and it peels extremely thick. I would recommend sticking with the kitchenaid brand.
