Bad smell inside

I love the cabinet but the fumes/smell from inside the cabinet never go away. I left the doors open, cleaned with vinegar, baking soda, tried leaving products to absorb odor inside, lavender, nothing helps, smells the same as the day we bought it. If I would have known the odor would never go away I would never have bought it. I wanted to put books and other personal items in it but i leave it empty as anything you store inside picks up the smell.
No, I do not recommend this product.

Q: Everett Red Cabinet shown in flyer is not in stock in local stores. The stores say they are not getting more of this item yet the flyer indicates it is a new item and the flyer just came out. Can you tell me if it is possible to get this item in NB or NS?

A: I'm running into the same problem. Most of my local stores are not in-stock. Confused as you are as the flyer just came out and mentioned it's a new item. I was told by the local staff that it is a discontinued item.

Q: How much clearance is there under the unit (i.e. how tall are the legs)?

A: It is 6” from the floor to the bottom shelf.

Q: Do you know the measurement from the floor to the bottom of the shelving unit? We are looking to put this infront of a baseboard heater that is 9" high and wonder if the legs are long enough so that the wood of the shelfing unit clear the heater.

A: Bonjour Wally1, J'ai contacté Canadian tire par téléphone et ils m'ont dit que le meuble était disponible en quantité très limitée et seulement tenu dans certains magasins. Ils disent qu'il recevront encore certains exemplaires vers la mi-janvier (voire fin janvier), encore dans certains magasins et en quantité très limitée... On se croise les doigts?

A: The Everett Red Cabinet is made of solid wood and MDF. The legs and door (with glass inserts) are solid wood. The top and sides are MDF.
