Great gate

This gate is great for the baby and start of toddler stage. It is like a magnetic connection that you have to lift up on to open. However it does not stay as secure as your child gets older mine figured out how to open it at a year and a half

We love this baby gate for keeping our toddler safe from getting into things she’s not supposed to! It is very stable and it made very well. It was easy to set up too!

Q: The main picture shows the gate with brackets that screw into the wall (top of stairs safe) whereas some other pictures show this held in place by pressure only. Which design is it?

A: The Easy Walk Thru gate is a pressure mount gate, the first picture shown on the website is the Evenflo Secure Step Top of Stair gate which is a hardware mount gate. The Easy Walk Thru gate is not suitable for the Top of Stairs.

Q: Would my almost 4 year old son be able to open the gate on his own?

A: The gate is designed so that kids 2 and under should not be able to manipulate the latch to open the gate. A 4 year old may be able to if they have the hand strength to activate the latch.
