Easy to use

A very nice quality tent for the price. It's easily setup by one person in under 5 minutes. Taking it down and packing it was also simple and straight forward. Packing easily into a small bag that can be stored in a surprisingly tiny space.

This screen house is light weight, and very easy to set up if you are familiar with dome tents. Can be placed over a small table - and is perfect for 2 lounge chars. The only drawback is that the screen material is quite light, so it may pull and tear if you are not careful. Not intended to be set up in shrubby areas.

This is a basic shelter, easy to put up.
Keeps the bugs out, but needed to add a tarp to keep the rain from coming in the sides.
Roll down flaps would be nice though probably to heavy for the structure.
Make sure you peg the shelter down or it will blow away.

Très pratique lorsqu'il fait beau, la surprise nous attend sous la pluie. Compte tenu de l'inclinaison des parois latérales, l'espace à la hauteur des épaules est très étroit quand vous placez l'abri pardessus une table à piquenique et l'eau froide vous coule dans le dos lorsque vous vous frottez au haut des moustiquaires (en cuisinant en bout de table, par exemple). Sinon, ça va et c'est facile à installer.

Q: Will this provide shade? Has anyone tested this as a shade shelter? I have used as a bug shelter, but in cloudy conditions, am not confident the material will provide good shade. Any thoughts?

Q: how to make it water proof I bought this and it was great at keeping the bugs and sun out but I am looking for a way to transform it so it is decent in keeping the rain out? I have tried tarps with both speed sew and velcro and neither worked.

Q: screenhouse What height is the Escort Screenhouse, 12 x 12' as I need to put it over our outside round table which has an umbrella stand. If I don't have to take out the umbrella stand everytime, but just lower it, that would be great. Fed up not being able to eat outside on my deck in Toronto in the summer because of the dreaded WASPS!

A: I own this screenhouse and I don't believe it is tall enough to fit over an umbrella stand. It fits nicely around a picnic table and is high enough to move around comfortably.
