Used one time. The relief valve failed and sent gas up into the gauge display. Now it’s hard to read. Will be returning.

Q: This thing is junk. I purchased it and didn't keep the receipt. False advertisement the thing is all plastic not metal as the picture shows I used it twice and the relief valve it stuck and leaking would they take ot back without receipt?

  • A: The only thing that is plastic Is the piece that goes in? Between 2 fuel lines, but most vehicles today have quick attachments, which requires a more expensive fuel testing kit. I recommend buying the more expensive one. Or making your own adapters.

  • A: Yes, although i suggest you get a T-hose connector to join it on the fuel system. Without disrupting the routing. I have ran it on a 1990 nissan 300zx and the test came out well.

  • A: It does come with different adapters for different cars. Check the service manual for you car and it should tell you what adapter you have on your engine. If it doesn't match i'm sure you can find another adapter that will attach to it. It came with an adapter for my vehicle so i was lucky.

  • A: The 3640 does have an adapter to fit a Schrader valve for further testing. Follow all directions specified in the marine engine's service manual for procedures, and specifications before using the fuel injection pressure tester.

  • A: Unfortunately, the Equus 3640 Fuel Pressure Tester Kit (0251020) is only compatible with domestic vehicles and some import vehicles, which does not include Mercedes. This means that it will not function properly with your vehicle.
