The surface of the oval is certainly reflective, but I don't know what makes it 'uniquely' so, as the description I read claims. It comes with 36 black stick-on numbers--four each of 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 and 0 (with the 6 capable of being turned upside-down to serve as a 9). Although the packaging claims you can have a 5-digit number, that's only true if you aren't number 11111, 22222, or so on. If you're number 11112, no problem. The reflective oval and the black aluminum frame seem sturdy.

I thought it was a nice plaque but when I tryed to put my numbers in I discovered no # 9 is in the kit. If you need the #9 don't buy this product.

Just LOVE this!!

This address plaque is just brilliant! The white part is reflective so my house numbers stand out - they're as easy to read from the street as the signs that light up are. The best part is there was no wiring required all for a decent price too! I'm super pleased with this purchase!
