Compact but frustrating

Pros: *Compact *Can charge from either USB or wall outlet Cons: *Don't download the software from Energizer to watch the charging progress on your computer--most anti-virus/anti spyware programs treat it as spyware--yikkies! *Included is a feature that will 'detect' bad batteries. Trouble is it's over sensitive. My very first use it said the brand new batteries (included) were 'bad'. Went through 3 packages at Customer Service before we found a good set. Now, about every third charge it thinks the batteries are bad...very frustrating.

Disappointing!

I bought this to have a small charger I could leave in my desk at work for my mp3 player batteries, but this is the worst charger ever. It charges AAA batteries very quickly, but they don't keep their charge so it's frustrating! I charge the two batteries that came with it and leave them in my drawer. But if I leave them sitting in my drawer for a few days, by the time I put them in my mp3 player they have only half a charge and the battery is completely dead within an hour and needs to recharged again. I charge the same batteries on a different charger at home (the one that takes 4 AAA batteries) and they last for at least 8-16 hours of almost continual usage before they need to be recharged. I guess it's all right for an emergency, but I really wish I hasn't spent the money on this thing.
