Q: can i connect this to a dryer or stove electrical outlet in the house and power a 30 amp travel trailer
9 years agoA: No, an RV cannot be connected to a dryer receptacle under any circumstances as the dryer supplies 240 Volts – your RV only requires 120V. However, if you have an electric range in the kitchen, it may be possible to connect the RV to an electric range plug. If your range plug is 50 Amp with straight prongs, this electrical adaptor will work. If your electric range is 30 Amps with angled prongs, you should be able to connect directly using your existing 30 Amp extension cable such as our Camco 50’ 30A cable, available as Product # 40-8237.
