Q: in the specs it says this is 40 liter, 10 gallons, yet the ad says 182 L which is 40 gallons. so.... don't want to order it in case it is the small one.

A: Either magnesium or aluminum. Magnesium is better for softer water and aluminum for hard calcium water. Canadian tire sells replacements.

A: The hot water tank is not a frig with gas in it, of course, you may carry it on its side, just be gentle.

Q: Will this unit fit in a mid-size SUV (i.e. GMC Terrain)? Trying to determine if I will need to bug my brother in-law for his truck or not. I believe by the dimensions it should but just looking for a 2nd opinion.

Q: does this tank have an anode rod? if so how deep is it? opened plastic cover and cut away foam....but no anode rod....afraid to go too deep. thanks in advance

A: One of my heater coils was faulty. Canadian tire wanted me to unhook the whole unit and return it and then start over. Or wait a week for service. Having a family of 4 I had to buy another rod out of pocket and hook it up from the local hardware store which voided my warranty. Can’t live without hot water for a week with 2 kids under 5 in the winter …. Other than the terrible service it works well. I also had to spend $60 out of pocket.
