Manque d'information pour être encastré

J'ai acheté ce foyer qu'on dit encastrable. Aucune instruction pour l'encastrer dans le manuel. Qui plus est, j'ai contacté le fournisseur et il m'a répondu que leur produit n'est pas garantie si je l'installe dans un meuble. (customer@homestarna.com). Je suis certain que ce produit n'est pas fait pour fonctionner tel quel (les specs disent "peut aussi être utilisé seul"): l'air chaud qui en sort est aspiré par son entrée d'air située juste au dessus de la sortie. Ce qui le fait arrêter de chauffer très rapidement en mode thermostat.

Best Reliable Remote Control Firebox

[Employee of canadiantire-ca] Received this as a gift. It is the best. Had a different firebox previous that lasted about 4 yrs. This new one has many features but the most important is that it provides reliable strong heat that is remote operated. no more getting up to turn off and on switch and eventually wearing it out beyond replacement. this firebox will shut off when it reaches room temperature. you do have the option to override that and make it even warmer by a separate thermostat on the product. there are 5 settings that you can choose from to set the ambiance that is right for you. would highly recommend. If you are someone that has medical conditions that are affected by cold temperatures (like myself), I cannot say enough good things about this particular product. It is on every day, all throughout the day and has proven to be a huge blessing.

When installed correctly this makes for a nice warm romantic evening in the cool months,and in warm without heat on, very kool to snuggle too and watch all the different flame settings, with heat or without. A very interesting heating or not heating unit with a view ! With the eas of the remote it can change your mood with diff flame views .

I purchased one of these a few years ago because the dimensions are what I needed. The first one lasted about a year. I bought another one. It might have lasted two years tops with very little use. I bought them on sale but even then I consider this product a waste of time and money.

A: This fireplace insert DOES NOT necessarily come with a remote. More recent models do not. Check in store to verify the model they have in stock. And models with remote cannot be special ordered.

Q: I have a Masterflame frameless firebox SN#1005281701 but I don’t have the owners manual anymore. Fan&heat don’t work anymore. Is it only a fuse to replace? I have mine for a number a years. Can’t live without! Thx.

A: Hello Barb, i am very sorry but the insert we do not recommend inserting it into the wall we do sale wall mountable fireplaces, where you would be able to hang it on the wall but not insert it into the wall. This firebox is supposed to be used with an already made mantel or you would be able to purchase the mantel alone with a firebox.

A: Venting for this firebox is located at the top and back. The 2-3” clearance would therefore apply to the front and back of the unit in order to account for air intake and flow.
