Workmanship wasn't good enough for its price

Got this table during Cyber Monday last year and the latches were already broken last night (Feb 5). Besides, the centerline was hinged and therefore not even, that the ball may bounce to a random direction if it hit the line.

I got this once, ridiculous table. Had to exchange for another. Once exchanged, used for a month and base is broken again. Too weak base, dont buy it.

Good in theory, but very poorly made

We bought this table about 8 months ago and honestly used it a half dozen times. The plastic components in the folding legs and the 'support brackets' are super poor quality. Two of the four supporting brackets broke (with no extra pressure). When we took it back to Canadian Tire, even though they could locate our receipt, the manufactures warranty is only 90 days, so they did nothing for us. A 90 day warranty seems like they don't have much faith in their own product.

Flimsy design

Although it was fairly easy to assemble, the flimsy design made it difficult to have both halves of the table straight and levelled. Hence, the table was always crooked and it was not possible to play on it properly. Also, since there's also a middle cut in each halves (for the purpose of easy foldability), it can further more impede the game. I would not recommend this table.

A: Ping pong balls are extremely light weight, and the slightest breath of wind will blow it off the table. The table is strong and sturdy - it won't be a problem.

Q: Has anyone purchased this for adults to use. I notice all the reviews are from people that purchased item with children. We do not have kids and looking for a cottage table.

Q: Want to use this table as a gaming/board game table in my basement. Table top does not need to sit perfectly level (like it would if we were actually playing ping pong) but it does need to be fairly sturdy. Is this table going to break if you lean on it?

A: Hi Nope, this a fairly sturdy game table. The table weighs 47.96 kg and features 1.0in (25mm) thick steel legs. Applying minor weight to the ends of the table should not be an issue. We do not recommend sitting on the table or applying excessive weight to the center. Thanks!
