Wet/dry cleaning problems solved

Purchased to replace a decade old earlier cordless model. The ability to choose suction levels vs. run time is great! Let’s me hit the travel paths to greater effect. The submarine head is so ridiculously easy to use. Only requires same movement and rhythm as simply dry vacuuming. The solution tank will appear too small but the machine meters it out very effectively to let you wash a far larger area than you would think possible. Very happy with this machine/purchase.

This is the worst purchase i have ever made. To get a decent level of suction, i have to use the top power setting, this reduces the battery to 10 minutes, that means i have to charge it before wet mopping the floor. the unit feels cheap, the wand bends. I have to bang the unit so hard to get all the debris out of the canister. When Dyson sent thjis review, it tells me i have a 'Refurbished' machine - not what i paid for. I will never buy Dyson again,

Q: I purchased a Dyson V9 from Canadian Tire just before Christmas. I no longer have the receipt of the box it came in. I'm not a all happy with this product. A big waste of money!! Every time I use it, the signal for cleaning the filter comes on???

  • A: I had the same problem and went directly to Dyson. They had me ship the vac back but keep the filter and then they shipped a new one so I would have 2 filters. Can u believe it??? But they paid for shipping too. Hope that helps. Weird tho. Ask if they can get the filter for yours first and if they can’t then this is what they’ll do. They will definitely try to please you.
