Delivering up to 40 minutes of fade-free suction on both carpets and hard floors, this cordless powerhouse uses Dyson's advanced V8 motor to tackle tough messes. Great Suction

Bought this last month and am extremely happy. The suction is great and it’s easy to maneuver around things. So easy to switch between attachments and there’s quick and easy dumping of the canister. I vacuum all day with it because it’s so easy to use! Best part - no cord in the way!

Great features

It has very good suction but the only issue I have is the battery only stays charged for 7 minutes on max and approximately 15 minutes on the regular setting. At this point you have to charge it for 5 hours again. It is a brand new vacuum so I am not understanding why the battery does not stay charged longer.

We really like the new vacuum, it's very convenient. The only downside is if you use it in high suction it kills the batter the battery much faster.

A: Hi there, I’ve used Dysons on all types of surfaces, including hardwood floors and I’ve never had any issues. Mind you that there are many types of hardwood flooring, so you should always double check with the manufacturer or the installer.

A: Cleans the carpet very well. Dog hair - terrible! The hair gets packed in the filter. Make sure you get all the parts, we were missing the “wand”.

Q: When and how do I clean and wash the filter? I did not get a card to register the vacuum..It only included a Spanish version. I bought it at Canadian Tire on May 9th and it only came with ‘Important Safety instruction’.

A: Personally, my experience with my purchase of Dyson V8 at the Vernon Canadian Tire was not very good. I was missing the thin vacuum attachment which would easily allow vacuuming between the car seats or small areas in the house. I was told that Dyson did not include it any more. Well, I sense found out that maybe at CT they don’t but else where they do. So, I am done with CT. To empty the filter pull the grey latch on top of the motor handle at the filter will open allowing the dirt drop into a garbage bag. Make sure the filter is held over the garbage container. Good luck

A: Sur le côté du balai vous deborez le petit compartiment et vous tirer sur le balai et cela vous donne assez d espace pour le nettoyer. Vous replacez le rouleau et réparer le côté.

Q: Why does the Dyson V8 not include a crevice attachment, when the paper instruction in the box shows it clearly.?

A: I wondered the same and was disapointed, thinking at first, (because of the instructions,) that it should have been included. But it depends on which model you have bought. I think our model is slightly cheaper than the one that includes it. I find I don't often miss it, as the other brush some to fit pretty well into most spaces.

Q: How many attachments are in the box? (box says 1, Manual pictures 2) The box has the following Item List: Vacuum Cleaner,Motobar Cleaner head Docking station, Combination tool, Charger. Going by the box 1, but the image in manual shows 2.
