Q: I have herd many reports the the plugged filter comes on even after a couple minutes of use, Right out of the box brand new. Has this problem been solved.. Sure don't want to spend that kind of money and have problems right out of the box!!!!.
2 years agoA: Hi Kenneth, This is Miella from Dyson. The V15 Detect Total Clean's filter light is designed to only come on when the filter needs washing. It shouldn't come on out the box. Hope this helps! Miella Dyson Customer Support

Q: Can the cleaner head fit under furniture with a ground clearance of 3.5 inches?
3 years agoA: The cleaner head is less than 2.5" high so yes, you should have a full inch to spare! (I just measured it on my V11)

Q: Does this vacuum lay completely flat and still suck good....for getting under beds, furniture. the vacuum I have now has the head lift off the floor when angled flat and will not suck up anything.
3 years agoA: Yes it does but I don’t think I would buy another one for that price. I find it too heavy. I prefer the upright vacuum cleaners.

Q: Do these stick vacuums do shag or high piled carpet?
4 years agoA: There is an adjustment that allows you to vacuum a higher pile, but I don’t have shag carpets so not 100% sure. I would say my area rugs would be medium pile and the higher setting is fine.

Q: Do you have to continually hold the on button or did they fix this and just turn it on and go? I know with the V8 you have to hold the on button which would be a pain.
4 years agoA: Yes, you do have to hold the button. But it isn't uncomfortable really. Honestly, this is my absolute favorite work tool, bar none. The perfect vacuum cleaner!

The Combination tool is two tools in one, a soft dusting brush and wide nozzle to help you clean up-high and down-low. As well, our V8 unit runs up to 40 minutes while the V15 Detect runs longer than the V8, up to 60 minutes of fade-free suction as well as includes our Laser enabled cleanerhead which reveals microscopic dust. Q: Is the battery detachable? Is it possible to buy a second battery and swap them out out – charging one while using the second with the vacuum?
