Best charger ever

I just got this as a birthday present. I am so impressed with it. Put the batteries in and it will charge them and also tell you which batteries are not good. Fast and reliable. Love it!

Misleading claim

I bought this charger with the main intention to quickly recharge two sets of four previously bought DURACELL AA / HR6 / DC1500 NiMH 1.2V rechargeable 2650 mAh batteries. Unbelievably, these batteries of their own brand name do NOT appropriately fit in this charger: they don't stay in place; they don't "click" and therefore they can't be recharged with this charger of their own brand name. What a disappointment! Don't think those batteries are defective or something like that; no! I have been (and still am) recharging those Duracell batteries with another Duracell charger (the one they advertise for 1000 mW (or 360 mA to be precise). Of course, it takes 8-9 h to get fully recharged... I am even also able to recharge those Duracell batteries using other brand (Rayovac) charger! When reading the following Duracell statement: "...charging power to recharge AA and AAA NiMH batteries from any brand..." be VERY cautious about buying this charger if you intend to use it for different brands as it is not able to recharge some of its own brand. I still recommend the product to be used with the batteries included in the package. It does what it says with those ones.

Q: 15 min. charge time for ANY rechargeable battery? Can this charger recharge ANY type of Duracell Rechargeable Battery in 15 minutes? Or Only the new Ion type?

A: I have two sets of four DURACELL rechargeable 2650 mAh AA / HR6 / DC1500 NiMH / 1.2v batteries that I previously bought and they don't fit in this charger; therefore they can't get recharged at all using this charger. I'm still able to recharge them using the old Duracell 1000 mW (360 mA) charger but it takes 8-9 h for one set to get fully charged.
