Q: Does it need to be installed vertically? Or can it be installed horizontally too?

  • A: I installed mine horizontally and it seems to work well, if you are worried about the vent flap closing when not in operation..it does, I think because of the angle it is hinged inside the pipe.

  • A: Hello and thank you for your question in regards to our DB4ZW Dryer Vent Draft Blocker. Screw size and length all depends on what your set up looks like. We recommend #8 screws, one inch in length.
