Dry Shine Car Bug & Tar spray did the job and removed the caked on tar. I sprayed it on and let it sit and wiped. After a couple of repeated spraying it was removed like butter.

Works best removing Krown rust proofing

Bought this mainly to remove overspray from Krown rust proofing, as it was all over the paint and windows. It worked perfectly spray a small section and wipe off with a clean paper towel, flip it over and do a light buff and it all comes off. IT did a pretty good job on the bugs too. Each section take a new sheet of towel.
