Q: Can I run 50 or 75-watt lights? What is the max these are good for?

A: I never used this kit. The project is still on the list but it has a 30A relay & a 15A fuse. So 2 75W light 12V should run at 12.5A and be OK.

Q: My kit did not come with instructions. Does the red wire to switch go to a power all the time circuit or a hot while ignition on circuit.

A: We do not recommend using this with 2 55w lights. This wiring harness is made for low watt fog lights only.

Q: Will this operate a 1200 watt light bar?

A: No this wiring harness is for our fog lights only. You will need our PL-HARN-LB3 harness which handles 179w and up. Be sure to confirm the wattage of that light bar as well, since 1200 watts seems very high.

A: This harness kit comes in 2 separate sections. The main harness section (connects to lights, power, ground, and switch) is 7’ long in its longest section. The switch has an additional 3.5” of wiring. The wiring gauge ranges from 12AWG - 24AWG.
