Great tool to have

My job is renovations but the tool a month agoworks amazing one question why does it heat up fast and you're handling it feels pretty warm

Blade Life is terrible

I went through the original blades and a couple of replacements in about two medium side projects. The tool seems well built, but if the blades go as bald as a baby's behind after a day of use, I cannot give this item higher than a 1 star.

The blades SM510 aren't cheap and have too short life for the price. For the price of 6-7 blades, I can buy a new tool....

Didn't work like in the video!

Only had the saw-max for about a week so far not impressed. First thing I wanted to do was make a few simple miter cuts using the miter guide which I purchased along with the saw max. I’m no master carpenter but I’m not a beginner either. I followed the instructions, lined everything up and two things happened. One, the saw tore up the miter guide, (see photo), two the blade did not even cut all the through a 5/8-inch board. I know I must have done something wrong, but I even watched a video on this and at this point at a loss of what I did wrong. Any help would be appreciated.

Lots of gimmicky tools come down the pike every day. That tool does this, this tool does that; they all fall flat. Compare this Dremel saw has all the most important specs in spades. Big tool power in a small package, it drives with 6amp, 17,000rpm through the worm gear drive. The dust pickup is adequate, depending on the vac attached. My small hand held works best, with dust control very good. It handles very well but it helps to have a large hand. The guides provided in the kit are great; they work! And everything fits nice & snug in the hard-sided case. A great tool at regular price but we all like our tools better when they go on sale. All totaled, this is a great cutting system. Flush cut, plunge cut or plain straight cut, this tool is a great plus for any DIY'ers up to experienced woodworkers.
