Great tool until Battery fails.

I own two Dremel 8220's. They are great tools until the battery dies. The B812-02 or B812-01 battery is not available anywhere including here

Hello all~ i'm currently looking for a good Rotary tool to modify my own Computer Case~ and i'm new to craftmanships~ i'm just wondering if Dremel is the better tool to go for....or MasterCraft? and what's the Pros and Cons~ thx alot for your time!

A: Both would do a fine job, however the Dremel is cordless and offers more freedom then the corded MasterCraft.

A: Dremel's 8200 is discontinued and replaced with the 8220. I'm sorry for the misunderstanding and will let the Dremel sales team know of this for further investigation.

Q: Is it (Dremel) compatible with Mastercraft bits? Are Mastercraft and Dremel rotary tool accessories compatible with one another? I am thinking of buying this cordless Dremel, but may want to buy a Mastercraft accessory set.

A: Dremel tools have only been tested to work along with Dremel bits and attachments only. For our competitors bits I am not able to advise that they are compatible.

Q: Can someone comment on the noise level of this cordless drill versus a corded version? I use a corded dremel to trim my dog's nails, but the noise scares him, making the job much more difficult.

A: A cordless rotary tool is most defiantly quieter than a corded tool. We also do not recommend using a corded rotary tool for grooming dogs nails. What we do recommend is the model 7300-PT.
