Decent product...good thing I got it on sale

Got this futon on sale because it was the last one they had. The box was pretty beat up when we picked it up and one of the wooden end pieces was cracked fairly badly when we took the pieces out of the box. We were still able to put it together and it's comfortable enough to sleep on for a night or two.

Great for a den/guest room

This futon is so much nicer than the metal ones. It is a lot less expensive than the same thing in other stores. If you wait until it's on sale, even better. The only complaint is that the description says the arm rests have magazine holders, but they do not. More of a manufacture problem than Canadian Tire though.

Nice futon, difficult to assemble

This futon looks very nice...got it for my daughter's bedroom (extra for lounging or for sleepovers). It was VERY difficult to assemble. My husband is very handy and assembles stuff all the time. This came with two sets of instructions (slightly different) and at times we had to go back and forth between the sets to find the right parts and sections! Very strange. Had to hammer very hard and practically warp parts to get them to fit...but finally managed to complete it. By far one of the most frustrating things to assemble. Who prepares this stuff?? Looks nice, easy to put up and down, fairly comfortable.

great product for the price. was pretty difficult to assemble and took almost 3 hours to finish it, but once it was done it looks great. very comfortable and easy to turn into a bed. very nice product.

Q: Why is colour different from what is posted online and in flyer? The colour of this futon (the wooden part) is completely different from what is shown on the website and on the flyer. Why is incorrect information posted on the web-site? Is there no quality control over the postings?

A: When I purchased mine I was told it came in two different styles and colours and they only have the one style in stock at the time. I assume that is the reason the image differs. Check with your local Canadian Tire to make sure which one they carry. I highly recommend this futon. Very comfy!

Q: Metal frame: Cross- wires or bars Does this futon have crosswires (like a chicken coop) or the thick bars across it? I hope it's the bars as they are more sturdy and longer lasting...

A: Its a wire mesh but they seem to be strong. Mine did bend to the curve of my butt after sitting on it a few times but they are thick and strong. I am sure they will last a while.

A: Le matelas mesure 72" (6 pieds) X 54". La boîte est très grande et cubique. Il n'est pas possible de la transporter en voiture même familliale. Mais elle contient une boîte plus petite et le matelas plié. Il est possible de l'ouvrir au magasin pour entrer les articles séparement dans une voiture. Sans l'ouvrir, au moins un pick-up est requis.

A: I think the Canadian Tire Team member got their measurements mixed up. They used both imperial and metric in their answer, which can be confusing. This bed/mattress is a full (double) size. Futon Bed Length: 188 (74.02in) Futon Bed Width: 135 (53.15in) Futon Bed Height: 43 (16.93in) And Anonymous is incorrect.
