Q: Is this chime wired or wireless?

A: This door chime requires proper wiring between the button (s) and the transformer. It also requires the use of an electrical junction box. Most homes are already wired for an installation door chime.

Q: How does this mount horizontally? I bought this today, and the online picture shows it horizontally... However, there is no mechanism to hold the cover in place horizontally. How can this be done?

A: This product is meant only to be mounted vertically so there is no bracket to hold on the cover horizontally.
