Provides the most frame-friendly design with top-mounted 1" drainage plug and sloped trough to eliminate water accumulation around the plug
Recessed flanges and center trough allow the use of 2' or 4' centers
Minimum wall thicknesses of 1/4" (6 mm) and up to 5/16" ( mm) at fastening points make it extremely strong and resistant to splits and punctures
10 easy-to-reach locations from which to attach the float to stringers
Floatation capacity (buoyancy) of 550 lb (249.5 kg)
Dimensions: 24 L x 48 W x 16" H (61 x 122 x 40.6 cm) high and a tare weight of 40 lb (18 kg)
Made from high-impact resin with UV inhibitors

No, I do not recommend this product.

Q: How much does each float weigh? I have to dismantle the dock each fall due to current and ice flow

Q: How to install in existing dock? We have a dock that uses logs as flotation. One log has sunk, so we would like to install some of these floats, but will not be able to lift or remove the dock. There must be a device that will sink the float to get it under the dock?
12 years agoA: If you unscrew the cap and ballast the floats, then pump the water out it should allow for movement underneath. Visit your local store for further information. Thanks
