Many problems with installation. Hose was too short to reach window and entire unit now sits on an end table so that hose will reach.

I bought this thinking it would be great but boy was I surprised. I believe they should win an award though, “Most Costly A/C That Cannot Cool A Pantry”. Knowing what I know now, I wouldn’t have purchased this for a dollar.

Nice air conditioner!

Very nice air conditioner. It seems to give a fair bit of cooling to my large room and was easy to set up. I had to rig a plexiglass insert for my sliding patio door, but it does the job. I do wish portable air conditioner companies would include a patio door insert! We haven't had a heat wave yet, so I'm not sure how much water will collect but it does come with a drain hose.

Q: If the power turns off while device is running, once the power is restored does it automatically start / restore, or I have to press the start button?

It does not automatically restart or resume operation. You will need to manually press the power button to turn the unit back on.
