Solid Despite Several Manufacturing Defects

Once properly built, this little trailer is pretty solid. The instructions are pretty vague and must need an update, since it seems they have changed the design and some of the fasteners, and haven't changed the manual accordingly. Also a couple of the holes were drilled incorrectly and needed to be bored out, and the brackets welded to the sides to bolt the sidewalls on weren't aligned exactly where they should be, so I used washers to make up some space. If you are handy enough to want to build this yourself than these issues can be resolved without to much effort. If you aren't then I would consider having the store or another mechanic put it together. I haven't had it too long but I tightened all of the bolts myself and added a few upgrades to suit my needs better, so I am confident it will be great for landfill and scrap metal runs and throwing some saw horses and things into for a long time. Side note: I didn't like the license plate bracket under the driver's side tail lamp assembly so I moved it up onto the tailgate with strong magnets. Down there it's just waiting to be scraped and in fact I walked into it bending the plate within 24 hours of having it on.

The trailer is solid and good value for the price. The assembly instructions were great. I had jack stands so chose to assemble it with the main frame top side up. This saved flipping it over once it weighed 400 lbs. I added some grease to the springs where it slides on the frame. That was not in the instructions. The wiring was all plug and play. I just needed to supply some zip ties to secure the wiring. The dump feature is so nice.

bought mine from Kent. clearance already assembled. emailed the company and they sent be a bill of sales. register it right away no hassle.. option # 2 was to register it as a homemade trailer. just don't bring any paperwork with you..

Only 1 problem - the assembly instructions are pretty poor. It'll probably take you a little while to get going. Otherwise the trailer is absolutely perfect

Q: Has anyone been successfull in making the trailer quieter when towing.. The front and rear gates are very noisey. I have bungie cords on each corner but they still rattle badly.
