very upset that Detector & Clamp very missing

a year ago

I got this a few years ago, but i started to use it last year and find out that it didn't have the with Detector & Clamp, so i had to go out and buy another one

Difficult to store separate from Tripod

I am curious if there is in existence a quick connection part that can be mounted to either the base of the rotary laser (DW074) or the top of tripod (DW0737) for easier attachment and removal from the tripod. Currently I try to store the tools separately but its such a pain to hand tighten and loosen each time I have to mount it to the tripod. Other than that the tool works as well as can be expected of Dewalt/Black&Decker tools.

Limited use before laser quit rotating.

I used this unit for only a short time. Probably replaced the batteries only 3 times. Used it to set grade for my new shop. Turned it off while I ate lunch. Turned it back on and the laser head quit rotating. The auto levelers seem to work fine. But the driver circuit or head motor has apparently failed. I’m really disappointed as I normally expect good quality from Dewalt products. This was expensive and didn’t last!
