Powerful but trigger sticks on

I cannot believe that no other person has mentioned this in their reviews, but I can't get this darn thing to stop once it started! It is incredibly powerful though difficult to control unless you are paying attention and have two hands firmly on it at all times. Something difficult to get it in tight spaces because it's so big and finesse is zero because it leaves scratches which is fine for jobs where you just wanna get rid of old paint or stain. If you turn it down, it's better for fineness but down too much and it almost stops when you apply it to the wood. However, my absolute issue is that I cannot get the sander to Stop after I've used it for awhile as the dust gets into the trigger and the lock button!! we have managed to blow out the dust with a high-pressure blower but took awhile and jams up again once I start using it making me have to turn it down and then unplug it to change sand sheets and then plug it back in again and turn it up to start sanding which is a pain

No dust bag with unit, can't find one anywhere on line, or even a part number to reference. DeWalt needs to make it readily available. I'm very disappointed in the lack of planning on DeWalt's part.

Not good for fine woodwork

I am a beginner, hobyist woodworker. I bought this because the palm mouse sander was just too small. This sander is great at removing wood, but it is too powerful for any fine woodwork. I am making a tabletop and swirls are impossible to prevent or remove. I was hoping that attaching my shop vac to the dust port would help with the issue, but even my small adatper slides right off.

No, I do not recommend this product.
