Do not buy - warning!

I have a LOT of Dewalt products and live them, but his adapter is garbage. Locked onto my new bit and I had to cut it apart to release the bit

Guess I should have read the reviews before I purchased this but, alas, I did not. Now I should keep it on a shelf above my workstation in an attempt to remind myself that sometimes things sparkle, but they're essentially just turds covered in glitter.

Chuck Will Not Lock The Bit In Place

I put several drill bits and paddle bits in the chuck and it seemed to be in firm and tight but as soon as I stop drilling the bits will fall out of the chuck. There is no way to securely tighten the bits. Don't waste your money, it was a good idea to make this chuck but turned out to be a bad product.

I just got mine in the mail... Cut Open the package and took it out, and the outside ring just slide off into my hand. How are you supposed to use this thing? Absolutely Useless Design. Now I have to fight with the seller to get my money back!
