Quality drill that lasts

I have had this drill for about 3 years now. It works great and is holding up very well. It has 2 speed settings which are very useful. I do everything from drilling in 1/2" thick steel plate to screwing in 3" deck screws and it has always worked great. I only had once concern when it quit working on me once while using it on a rotary pump. It overheated and I had to let it cool down. Thats not really a failure, but a preventative feature to stop the drill from destroying itself. So it is designed very well. I wish the light that comes on when you pull the trigger was mounted in a better place because your hand blocks the light when the drill is operating. Other than that, the drill is a valuable addition to my tool portfolio.

20V Compact Drill/Drivers

Not as energy efficient as the brushless models but very durable. I've owned several of these for many years and they all still work like new. Still have a few of the original 1.5 amp batteries that still hold a good charge.

This drill is now 8 years old and still runs like a champ. It's the perfect size and weight for daily use. It might not run a 5" hole saw but it's a fantastic tool for a GC. Light enough to carry on my tool belt all day and still strong enough to sink a 6" lag bolt.
