Q: Does it come with side handle/or side handle not needed with this model during hammer drill operation on masonary?
4 years agoA: Hello Prabh, The model DCD778C2 does not have a handle and a handle is not necessary as this is not full on hammerdrill. This would be used for light masonry use. If you are looking for heavy duty, everyday work we do recommend a hammerdrill example model DCH133.

Q: IS THE BATTERY CHARGE FOR 110 AND 220 VOLTS? CAN IT BE USED IN COUNTRIES THAT HAVE 220 VOLTS?
2 years agoA: The charger is designed to operate on standard household electrical power (120 Volts). Do not attempt to use it on any other voltage.

Here are some examples and attributes: Drill: used to drill holes and to drive screws and other small fasteners. Drills into wood, plastic or metal Drill/Driver: Has 2 modes drilling and screw driving with a high or low torque setting. Has a set size HEX chuck Hammer drill: for drilling into hard materials. Drills into concrete and masonry. Performs in a rotary and impact mechanism to generate a hammering motion. Q: I have bought the DCD778C2 for drilling through brick/concrete. Hammer drills are built for this main purpose. How well does this drill work on this material? One review said it was poor.
5 years agoA: Hello Tim55, These drills/drivers/hammerdrills are designed for professional drilling, screwdriving and hammerdrilling applications. Recommended maximum capacity: Wood 1" bits, Steel 1/2" bits and Masonry (your preference) 1/4" bits.
