I bought them pre installed on my dewalt drill. I used them maybe twice a year. It doesn’t keep charge anymore. Waste of money.

Battery pack go bad so fast, expensive but not reliable as the tool, the problem is that you are stuck with this type of battery pack.

Why ? because you can jumpstart these for be able to charging when you connect 1 wire per working battery and connect to the not working ones you conna see spark just touch very fast the connectors and you need to have like 19-20 volts on the voltimeter . and try it again to charge them save 80% of my XRP battery packs . hope thats gonna help someone !

Replacement XRP 18V Battery Pack

I just ended up replacing an original 18V DeWALT Battery pack with the XRP, And it works super well! I have a DeWALT DC825 Impact driver that uses this battery replacement, And it runs like it's Brand New! I highly recommend this battery pack to anyone who needs a replacement.

A: The DeWalt 9099 mentioned is a 2 pack of 18v NiCad batteries that is compatible with 18v DeWalt Products. The product 0543202P is also a DeWalt 18v 2 pack of NiCad batteries compatible with 18v DeWalt products except it has an extended run time (longer battery life) than the other battery. If you are inquiring if this product is compatible, yes that is possible. Both these batteries are compatible with all 18v DeWalt tools.

A: The DEWALT XRP 18V NiCad Battery, 2-pk (0543202P) will 100% work with DW959 Drill/ Driver and the DW9116 battery Charger. All products utilize an 18V Ni-Cad battery platform allowing each product to be utilized together.

Q: Will these batteries be able to be recharged on my older 18V charger? It says DW9116 on the charger. I think my 18V type 1 battery packs were manufactured in 2013, as that is what is stamped on them.
