DEWALT 8V Max Li-Ion Gyroscopic Cordless Screwdriver

Awesome product....probably the best!!! Mine fell from a height, hitting concrete....after 7 years of joy......please bring back the DCF680, i cant find any anywhere 😭

This has to be the best tool in the industry for doing automotive interior trim without causing any damage to the panels or the hardware. Has plenty of muscle, no internal hammer and uses a slower rotation to help avoid cross threading machine screws and cracking plastic panels. I've been using one daily for 2 years and would now like a 2nd for my other shop. Only problem is I now see that everyone is currently out of stock, Including the OEM? Could someone please tell me if item will ever be back in production and available for sale again?

The greatest small screwdriver I have ever used. The gyroscopic action of this thing is absolutely amazing. I didn't quite know what to expect when i bought it, I just needed a small electric screwdriver for detail work. It took me a minute to get used to the gyro action. It's different than anything I ever used before but after using it for a little bit it became second nature. This is the most amazing screwdriver ever designed. The gyro system is just intuitive. It works so good. It's hands down better than trying to use a collars or toggle switches on the old screwdrivers of the past. The removable battery is amazing, keep one in the tool and keep the second in a bag and if your first gets used up just swap it out for zero downtime. No waiting on silly usb plug in to recharge a dead screwdriver with an internal battery. The clutch system works flawlessly and never over-tightens. This is the screwdriver you want. So sad they quit making them. Hope they read all the forums begging for this thing to come back, this thing was a hit and there are a ton of people disappointed that it's no longer available.

This is my favorite tool. Around the house it is almost a must. It is so versatile and has so many uses. It takes a little getting used to but i wouldn't be without it.

This is my second one of these. The first one I bought was the first time they came out about 10 years ago. Still works fine but the batteries are old and wouldn't hold a charge. Bought a new one since it was cheaper than buying the batteries. The new has been back for repairs 3 times in one year due to a failure in the gyroscopic switch. It's about to go back again and I just got it back 3 months ago. Mind you I only use it a couple of times per week and the tool still looks brand new. So disappointed in the substandard quality.
