The warranty is 90 day satisfaction, 1 year free service and 3-years limited against defects in workmanship. In turn, 054-7153 is the Mastercraft 4.5” Angle Grinder with a 6A motor that delivers 11,000 RPM. This includes a bonus cut-off disc and guard above what you would receive with the DEWALT model and carries a 3-year exchange warranty. If the customer is a heavy DIYer or uses this professionally, I would recommend they consider MAXIMUM, designed to perform at the standard of a trades professional and priced lower or comparable to the DEWALT. The two options worth considering have a 90 day satisfaction guarantee and 5-year limited warranty, and are 1) 054-7157, a 4.5” 7A Angle Grinder featuring a special ventilation system to keep the tool from over-heating and a 10” oil-resistant, all-weather cord and 2) 054-4296, a 4.5”/5” (bonus versatility through an added 5” grinding guard included!) 8A Angle Grinder with a barrel grip and paddle switch for improved ergonomics.

    Q: Will this grinder accept "cutting wheels" for cutting through metal? I'm looking for a good power tool to cut through rebar and ¼-inch metal plate. Will this grinder do the job? Or, would you suggest another? Thanks!
