Extremely disappointed

I have bought two of these blowers now. Extremely disappointed. We use both blowers for leaves and debris in the fall, winter we use for blowing light snow off our decks. First one died less than two years after purchase, the second one died after a year and half. Made two 100 mile trips to take them to the Dewalt repair shop only to be told if they are used for snow or around moisture there is nothing that can be done that moisture has hit the switch. Yet in all the literature that came with the blowers there is nothing saying to avoid snow or not to use to blow light snow. We were told both times this is not a manufactures default. We think it is.
No, I do not recommend this product.

Hello there. I am very disappointed in this blower. I love the size and use it in my workshop to blow sawdust and debris from my tools and surrounding are. (My workshop is full of Dewalt tools - almost exclusively!)
I purchased the blower from Canadian Tire in August/September
For a couple of months it ran perfectly!
Then it would cut out after 3 -5 seconds but immediately start again after I depress the switch for another 3-5 seconds and so on.
I have done all the online suggestions with new battery, clean the terminals, clean the air intake ….but no results
CAN I RETURN THIS TO THE RETAILER FOR A NEW ONE ?
I’m willing to try another one - hoping I just got one of the defective ones out there !

Excellent portable tool

Nice little blower. Practical to have around on any occasion do to it's small size and multiple functions. Great for small jobs like saw dust, dry leaves and to inflate any inflatable mattresses, pool toys, ect. Would not use on wet leaves.
