Got the inflator free with a tool kit. The ability to set the pressure is awesome and the inflator is way faster for an air mattress

After reading so many bad reviews about this I decided to take the a chance and I have no issues that everyone was having. I had a tire that I had to fill every day for over a month and it's still working great. The battery lasts a long time and it's faster than any other one I have used. Gauge is accurate. The only thing I have an issue with is the dial to adjust pressure setting. It's a little hard to turn with gloves on.
Yes, I recommend this product.

Q: Can it be used to fill a rig tire, 12rx22.5 up to 120psi? If so how long would that take? How long would it take for 105psi as well

A: Hi Carl. Yes, the Max PIS is 160. Unfortunately there are many factors that contribute to inflation time, so we are not able to provide these estimates.

Q: Can this be used as a blower of sorts? Does the is have a function to always be blowing and used as a blower to remove dust and debris from small spaces?

A: Actually, this does have a blower to a degree, though it is low volume. Large hose can be used to inflate/deflate air mattresses, sports balls, etc.. The hose has a twist lock feature, and the outlet is close to 1" in diameter with a smaller adapter with 2 ports. There is an adapter for the tire inflation hose which will blow air (pulsating) and volume is dependent on the pressure setting (higher the setting, more volume). A leaf blower it is not, and does not have the output of a large compressor, but great for kids toys and I've used it for air mattresses.

Q: I need a reliable tire inflator for a honda crv sport 2021. The dimensions are 235/60R18. Is the dewalt OK or should I buy another brand for reliability?

A: I've had this inflator for two years , filled up many tires and lots of swimming inflatables, works great for removing air and for filling both tires and inflatables - you will need a 20v Dewalt battery, or the 12v power plug as it does not come with a wall wart ( 110 a/c ) but is available to purchase on line if needed . I would not say it will last more than 3-4 years depending on usage , but I'm happy with it so far - sucked some water in , de inflating an inflatable canoe- and its still going ?

Q: Is this compressor/tire inflator, good to go straight out of the box? Does it need the rechargeable battery installed to be able to use it directly plugged into a 120V household outlet?

A: 12v only out of the box. The main reason we purchased this air compressor, is that the box clearly shows the unit can be powered with 120v AC ( household power ) 12v DC via a cigarette lighter style plug , and with the corresponding Dewalt battery, however there is no cord/adapter suppled to plug into a 120v wall socket and no battery .

A: YES -comes with 12v power cable that stores cleverly on the machine - and accepts De Walt 20v batteries , however does not come with a power supply ( wall wart ) that has to be ordered separately - though it is shown on the box . 2 years and still very happy with this unit

Q: Is this suitable for inflating a SUP to 15 psi? Will the gauge be precise enough not to over-inflate? Does the unit come with the “push and turn” adaptor for a SUP?

A: Hello Sylvia Thank you for your contact. We apologize for any trouble or inconvenience. The inflator can handle up 163 PSI. It is not recommended to to leave unattended as over inflation and bursting may occur. There is not a push and turn adapter that comes with the device or has been tested and approved by DEWALT to work specifically with stand up paddleboards. Best Regards Sherri C DEWALT

A: Hello BobB, The specifications available for this model are: HIGH PRESSURE SCFM 0.5 (TESTED PER ISO1217) HIGH VOLUME SCFM 15.2 The DCC020IB inflator can inflate a car tire (235-45r17) from 0 to 35 PSI in 4 minutes 38 seconds or a truck tire (275-45r17) from 0 to 35 PSI in 8 minutes 15 seconds.
