Detail K2 Custom Front Mount

Good quality and well designed!This is the best way to mount a DK2 plow! Prior to owning this DK2 plow, I only had experience with the Western pro grade snow plows my dad had when I was in College. The custom mount is the closest you get to a pro grade plow mount. It fits perfectly and is designed specifically for your vehicle. I have some mechanical experience and fabricating experience, so that may have helped me in the installation but I thought the directions and diagrams were helpful and designed well enough that I had no trouble installing this mount to my 2014 GMC Sierra 1500. It did require me to remove the lower wind deflection skirt on the front bumper. Not a big issue at all. I also had to temporarily remove a skid plate (I have the off road package), which just required an impact diver and socket. Easy to do and to reinstall. It is properly braced with a substantial angle support, and actually the main mount brackets fit similarly to how some Western, Fisher and Boss plows mount to the truck frame. Once on it is super fast to mount and unmount. This is the best part that DK2 has made for their plows. Very happy, and would absolutely recommend this as the best way to mount a DK2 plow. I have used both of DK2’s mounting systems on two different trucks and this is the superior option.

The original product ordered was to fit my 2018 Silverado , It did not fit, tried everything . Called DK2 support got through right away , discussed my problem and was given a contact person to work with me . I found out my truck has two different types of frames . guess what , mine was different . Called Warranty and a new product was sent out immediately . And it fits was a easy install. Randy

Definitely need this to mount the plow to your rig. I was going to try to save myself the money and fabricate my own mount but there’s no way I could have matched the fit and finish of this one. Went on easy (it’s not a 5 minute job, set aside some time but it’s pretty cut and dry) and works great!

WE had bought the K2 Everest plow used and it came with Toyota mounts. All I needed was this kit and we took the push bar off of the old mounts and swapped them on. Perfect fit. We did add large flat washers with a steel plate so it wouldnt collapse the frame. The mounting bolts go through a large oblong stock hole in the frame and we didnt want to collapse the frame overtightening the cross bolts
