Expect Leaks With Integral Spray

I've had this model for more than 4 years. In that time, I have had to replace the sprayer assembly (diverter, hose, nozzle) twice. You can't replace just the part leaking, you have to replace the whole assembly. The thing that bothers me the most is that the faucet cannot be used independent of the sprayer. (removing the assembly equates to one big leak). So, while waiting for your replacement, you have to live with the (pressurized) leak of the sprayer or not use your faucet. There really should be a way to isolate the sprayer for situations like this, or not design the two components dependent on each other. Now ... to figure out how to order the part and endure the longer than normal wait. Likely easier to just replace the faucet. Such a waste to add to the ladfill. Hopefully the competitors don't utilize silimar design.
